lunch with the girls in the OC...too hot to sit out yesterday that's for sure - it was 113 degrees in LA! Brutal.  Horrendous.  Really hard to focus on what to do with the hot Sun burning you and the hot wind blowing around you. 

Sad news about the death of editor Sally Menke - who went for a hike in Beachwood Canyon with her black labrador yesterday and didn't come home.  Her body was found late yesterday.  Why on earth you would want to go hiking in 113 degree heat I don't know.  It's very probable the heat had something to do with her death.  Very sad for her and her friends and family and of course her loyal dog who was found alongside her body.

ANother chef who appeared alongside Chef Gordon Ramsay has committed suicide in New York by jumping off the George Washington Bridge.  He owed a lot of money and was severly in debt, but he had a wife and 3 kids, so there had to be another option surely?  All very sad.  Bad news day!

The beautiful Pacific Ocean - which would be nice to immerse in today - with temps in the 100's...107 today!  Yikes. More stories coming out about LiLo and Paris Hilton doing drugs together in 2007.  They're not friends anymore but there's talk of syringes and needles - so LiLo really does need help.

So on the day after the Full Moon in ARies, Lindsay Lohan was locked up and released from jail in 24 hours...the same Full Moon which targeted her 10th house of career and social status.  Next month, same time of month, there's another Full Moon in the same part of her chart.  It will be interesting to see what happens to Ms Lohan this time next month.

2 back to back Aries Full Moons aren't easy but that's what the Universe is dishing our way right now.  And Venus, the goddess of love and beauty is getting ready to go out of phase in Scorpio Oct 8-November 20.  Once again the Universe is testing us!

Little Humphrey - back in the day when he was a 6 pounder puppy...

So Cancer Lindsay Lohan didn't even get her day in court.  She was thrown straight in the slammer!  No if, ands or buts!  Dad Michael Lohan had a rather crazy press conference on the steps outside the court - with a young Preacher alongside him who seemed very happy to be there and on TV.  Dina Lohan was with Lindsay in court - don't know if she had a chance to say 'goodbye' though.  They weren't even allowed to apply for bail!  She's back in Linwood!  Until October 22.  She looked better than her last court appearance with her hair a nice strawberry blond colour.

And get this.  Brad Womack - a Bachelor from a while back who didn't pick anyone in the end - has asked for a 2nd chance at the Bachelor.  Like Aquarius cheese ball Jake Pavelka, he wants a redo!  And he might just get it.  He's a bar owner from Texas and was very closed off last time he was the Bachelor.  Chris Lambton who was last season's runner up is having way too much fun being single apparently!  LOL.

a beautiful morning in Laguna, the OC...just another beautiful morning...happens pretty much all the time...

Saw 'The Town' yesterday.  Alot of violence, guns and shootings and killings.  Leo ben Affleck has really come into himself as a Director and a star.  He lives his life in a low key way too - with wife ARies Jennifer Garner supposedly preggers with baby #3.  Let's hope he has a boy this time around! Capricorn Jeremy Renner stole the show as the hard headed toughie from the mean streets of Boston though.  Nice looking at 'my girl' Virgo Blake Lively.  She has a small part but she was good and nailed it.

What's going on with Aquarius Ashton Kutcher and Scorpio Demi Moore?  Are all these cheating reports false or is there some realm of truth to it?  It would certainly stun Hollywood if these two split.  Somehow I doubt they would split up though, even if the cheating allegations are true.  Demi and Ashton are both fixed signs, both stubborn and both seem very committed to their marriage.

Humpf taking stock of his toy pile and finding it lacking perhaps?  He certainly looks worried about something...

So guess who was at Hollywood dog park yesterday?  Aquarius ex bachelor whiny Jake Pavelka!  Yes the devil of bachelorhood himself.  He was filming some sort of commercial with 2 models and some dogs.  He is short with tree trunk legs in skin tight jeans and a long shirt over.  Actually he dresses a lot like another shortie...Cancer Tom Cruise.  I think he thinks he is Tom Cruise.  LOL

Big day today for American Idol fans.  Big announcement is about to happen!  The judges are about to show themselves!!  Woo-Hoo...Capricorn Ryan Seacrest is currently on stage revving up the audience with all sorts of fanfare about who the new judges will be.  Aries Steven Tyler is on stage.  Leo J Lo is on stage looking amazing.  All very exciting!  A Leo and an ARies running American Idol!!

Cancer David Hasselhoff got the boot last night on DWTS.  Everyone thought it would be fellow Crab The Situation.  The Hoff was stiff and not very good but he is certainly a character! 

Watching Hawaii 5-0 starring fellow Aussie Alex O'Laughlin, a hot Virgo, I couldn't quite believe the TEETH he has in his head.  He wasn't born with those teeth.  Americans and their teeth!  He looks like he has had a piano rammed down his throat! What was so bad with his teeth before?

Aquarius Humphrey checking out the cosmic scene in the OC...that's how he likes to roll in the car - not very safe but he's a wild child!

Scorpio actor and Runyon Canyon hiker Sam Page is joining the cast of Gossip Girl as lovely Virgo Blake Lively's new love interest.   I guess that means that he doesn't return to the bosoms of Mad Men's Christina Hendricks - last week he was sent off to Vietnam and she had hot sex up against a wall with Roger Sterling (Leo John Slattery) after being robbed in Harlem.  Or Burbank. Seriously - the props/set used for Harlem was like something out of Michael Jackson's Thriller video!  BAD.   So one would think from that little scenario that Joan Harris (Christina) is going to end up with Roger Sterling.  With a dead husband in her past.

Gossip Girl fab!  That fab line - "I'm Chuck Bass" was thrown in again at the very end of last night's episode.  Cancer Ed Westwick is so skinny now, as is his off screen love interest Jessica - bags of bones!  Nate (Pisces Chace Crawford) continues to be too good looking for his own good, while over on 90210, Liam (Aries Matt Latner) continues to look incredibly good looking and charming and has hearts fluttering all over the world!

Lone Star/The Event all good and something to watch in the fall.  DWTS...I was impressed with Taurus Hills star Audrina.  I thought she was good considering she went first.

the girls out and about in Laguna Beach, OC...beautiful part of the world...

So I've had a few days off to recoup and handle some personal stuff and I'm back!  And excited about the new fall line up on TV.  I watched the preview for Lone Star as it was sent out in the recent Vanity Fair magazine and it's really good.  Heard the pilot for Hawaii-5-0 was good too.  So that's something to look forward to.  Gossip Girl and 90210 started already last week.  Thank the Universe my DVR was all set up to snare these juicy gems or I would have missed out.

Can you  believe that after all the mud slinging and drama, Cancer Stephanie Seymour and her unattractive (being nice) hubby (no star sign available) Peter Brant are not getting divorced but have decided to stay together!  After all the drama and scandal including his busty young 24 year old girlfriend and her alleged drug use and drinking binges. Apparently he decided it 'was cheaper to keep her'!  Very strange and weird and hard for the kids no doubt.

FYI  Full Moon in Aries on Thursday.  the first of 2 Full Moons in Aries.  WATCH OUT!

the beautiful palm trees in LA - Sunset Boulevard in Bel Air...where the air is rarified!

So the cast of the Jersey Shore are slowly but surely disintegrating before our very eyes.  Snooki lost her poof, the Situation is doing his thing on DWTS and the rest of em are upset.  Angelina the 'Kim Kardashian of Staten Island' is off the show and now Pauly D has cut his spiky hair off!  What next?  one of them goes to college?  Joins Mensa?? LOL. 

Mercury has now moved direct and we are all finding it much easier to breath.  Plus all those little snafus we had to deal with earlier in the month are over and done with and the sailing is much smoother.  That said, next month Venus goes out of phase in sexy Scorpio, so we can expect drama in love lives and relationships. If you're planning on getting married or engaged October 8 - November 19, make alternate plans.

the Pacific Ocean in all its majesty and beauty...in Malibu...

So Bethenny from Real Housewives of New York quit and wants out.  Too bad girl.  You signed a contract and BRAVO are sticking to that contract.  You have to appear for another year on the show.

Dirty Danielle Staub - another housewife - has poor Caroline Manzo giving evidence in her rape case against her former husband.  Danielle told Caroline all sorts of amazing and horrendous claims about her ex - including that he killed her dog - so he's a dog killing rapist according to Danielle.

Leo Casey Affleck has settled both his sexual harrasment claims today.  WHat's up with that?  Did he actually do something?  Kinda sounds like it.  Shocking claims that he disputed but yet he pays up??

Mad Men just keeps getting better doesn't it?  The best show on TV today.  And at least Capricorn January Jones is now back in it more.  I just hope and pray she and Don are reunited.  Her new husband Henry has got to go!

Omarosa is engaged to Michael Clarke Duncan?  Shame on all of them - can't stand her and he's so welcome to her.  She is one nasty piece of work!

Humpf and Steve - chilling at the dog park...life is good!

And thank goodness 'Bachelor Pad' is over and done with.  Seriously.  Can't quite believe I watched all episodes.  Doesn't say much for my social life! However it was quite an amazing display of abs, legs, tattoos and amazing skin stretched over 3 himbos and 3 bimbos.  As for Gia (ex Jake season) and Wes (ex Jillian season), it looks like they are seriously dating and in luv or lust. 

Drake the rapper/R & B Canadian/African American Jewish guy is sho HOT right now!  Born October 24 Drake is a Libra/Scorpio mix.  He's all sorts of mixes actually!  Black/Jewish and Canadian!  And a Cusper!  Extremely talented, his new CD and his appearances are amazing.

So the cast of 'Jersey Shore' are slowly but surely coming undone?  Mike Sorrentino, the Situation, a needy Cancer, is now on DWTS and his dancing partner is none other than the sexy Karina.  I am sure the other cast members are jealous and that the Situation has blown up more than any other member of the 'Jersey Shore'.  No doubt there will be guido fallout.

The VMA's were a real mish-mash of fashion and fun last night.  Aries Lady GaGa is a classic!  She looked pretty for once (she's no supermodel) and her hair and make up was flawless.  Gemini Kanye is all smiling and charming, while Scorpio Katy Perry looked like she's now trying too hard.  The cast of the Jersey Shore were there!  A year ago they were a bunch of juicehead guidos.  Now look!  Angelina is once again MIA - there's a new girl in town.  I guess she leaves the show again?

It was the slowest weekend all year long at the box office.  I guess people are enjoying the last of the warm weather on the East Coast (we don't worry about that on the West Coast).  I am excited to see 'The Town' and 'Wall Street Part 2' or whatever it is.  TV is also about to get really good.  Gossip Girl is back!  90210 is on its way!  Dexter/Californication/Millionaire Matchmaker.  We said good-bye to Entourage last night - and what a finale.  Leo Jeremy Piven who plays asshole Ari Gold has finally had the worst possible thing happen to him.  His wife and kids left.  Pretty boy Cancer Adrien Grenier who plays Vinnie Chase is now a drug addict.  He got into a fight with Libra Eminem at the Roosevelt and insulted Minka Kelly (who is dating Cancer Derek Jeter in real life and is one of the prettiest girls of all time).

Humphrey's first day with me... May 15...look how little he is...he's a big boy now...

A sad day for the US and the rest of the world today.  September 11 will forever be in our hearts and minds as the day the US was attacked by terrorists.  I was living in West Orange, New Jersey September 11 and watched in disbelief on TV and from the hilltops as the World Trade Center smoked and burnt away.

Today is a day to simply love your life.  Reflect on the past 9 years and all that has happened with the country and the economy  - which isn't exactly a nice thing to think about actually!!  LOL.  Mercury moves slowly forward today which is a great thing.  It will take a few days to get sorted, but it's headed in the right direction.

when in Rome...drinking a good red wine at Antica Pesa in Rome - one of the best restaurants I have ever been to...

So Capricorn Kristin Cavallari let her mother drive drunk earlier this week and poor old mum got busted for DUI.  Mrs Cavallari blew way over the legal limit (almost twice the legal limit).  Surely there's enough money in the Cavallari pot to catch a cab home or get car service?  These celebs and the DUI's is kinda crazy.

Had lunch yesterday with my music soul sister Gemini Liz and Sarah McLachlan was there - love her.  Sarah looked really young and pretty and nice.  Urth Cafe is such a good celebrity hunting spot.  All sorts of classics running around!

cooling off at Runyon - even though this photo is old - it's kinda cold here in LA this week - no SUN at all - 65 degrees - a welcome change for many from the hot, burning Sun and heat.

People seem to love to pop out of the woodwork with their lawsuits don't they?  An ex bodyguard of Sagittarius Britney Spears is now suing for sexual harrasment and emotional upset - he says he witnessed Britney beating her boys with his belt.  Question 1: Why did he give her his belt to beat the kids?  Question 2: Why take so long to come forward?  Sounds like he's simply after some Spears cash - of which there is alot!

Sitting at Cecconi's last night in WeHo - Melrose & Robertson - lots of plastic fantastic - Linda - Brody Jenner's mum propped at the bar with a co-hort of blond Bev Hills types.  Quite the scene!

baby Pisces Zoey and baby Aquarius Humphrey B Bear.  This little treasure lives in my building.  All very cute!

Hung out at Santa Monica at the Pier yesterday.  Ate at Big Deans with the great unwashed.  Dirty bunch of people hanging out for sure!  All very interesting!

I watched the conclusion of the Real Housewives of New Jersey in disbelief yesterday.  What a turn up for the books as they say!  Jacqueline had some sort of ephinany during a break and decided to forgive Danielle for all her sins.  Teresa was kinda in on it too, however the Puppeteer Caroline Manzo wasn't interested in any forgiveness towards wretched Danielle - who was fired from the show and hopefully will never resurface on my TV again.  Let her and her lesbo love Lori disappear into the sunset.

I always thought the girls on 90210 didn't get along and I was right.  Article in today's New York Post about the fact that Anna Lynne McCord is Queen Bee and doesn't get along with the other girls.  She really is a drop dead gorgeous gal and with her beautiful man next to her, Kellan Lutz, she is unbeatable.  Bitchy though by the sound of it.

So Pisces Kat Von D and Aries cheater Jesse James had lunch at Urth Cafe yesterday.  Great idea - keeping things on the DL...I just hope Leo Sandra Bullock is getting it on with her hot new security guy - he is always in the pictures with her and Lewis the baby and he is HOT! 

Ex Bachelor Aquarius Jake Pavelka wants to be on the show for another season?  Really?  He is such a fame whore and hopefully the producers will find a fresh face.  Surely his 15 minutues are up? Surely there's someone else out there to be the Bachelor who really wants to find love?  Jake saw an opportunity to be famous and took it.  He was a pilot.  Now he's taking acting classes?  His ex pick Pisces Vienna is doing the LA/CA circuit - hiking Runyon, dancing on bars and tables in Vegas and being snapped by paparrazzi everywhere.  Your time is ticking away girl.  Land yourself an athlete or someone wealthy and go away.

So J Lo is going to be the next American Idol judge?  The talk is back to her again.  Very Leo of her to be so demanding and so many offers going back and forth.  And its back to 3 judges again - a good thing.
American Idol need to get a move on and announce who the other 2 judges are.  Randy Jackson is staying - he's the only original judge left.  Good thing Aquarian Ellen DeGeneres quit.  She kinda sucked.

Is Aquarius Jennifer Aniston really back with Libra John Mayer?  or is it some sort of bad publicity stunt to distract us all from how bad her latest movie 'The Switch' was?  Once again she needs to seriously rethink her career and find other ways to showcase her acting skills.  The romantic comedies aren't working for her.

And Pisces Kat Von D and ARies Jesse James continue to show their love to the world.  They have been out and about all lovey dovey this week.  Jesse said he deserves to be happy like everyone else in the world.  Really?  At the expense of others.  Ex Leo Sandra Bullock for one...and his kids who were put through hell over his cheating and lying ways.

Ms Michelle the Scorpio and Humphrey - one of my fav pics!

So rapper Libra T.I. and his midget wife appropriately named "Tiny"were busted in WeHo for drugs?  What's with these people?  T.I. just got out of jail for weapons possession.  Why are they driving around with ecstacy tablets in their car?  Stay home and do drugs people!  That's the reason why Scorpio P.Diddy, Leos Madonna & J Lo, Libra/Scorpio cusper Russell Simmons etc are still in the game, still rich and still relevant.  They steer clear of drugs (or at least publicly).  Drugs are ruining the lives of Cancer Lindsay Lohan, Aquarius Paris Hilton and have killed young stars like Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy, River Phoenix, Michael Jackson... and the list goes on.

I think it's Caroline Manzo who decides to leave Real Housewives of New Jersey on Monday night.  I can't blame her.  It's a toxic environment and once again bad energy that Bravo TV is putting out into the Universe.  All these women pitted against each other.  Why don't they make a show like that with men pitted against each other?  Women coming across as crazy bitches.  Capable of anything and everything.  There's going to be a murder one of these days becuase of one of these shows.  Someone will run someone over in their Range Rover or poison someone or shoot someone...it's bound to happen.

I was in Bristol Farms on Sunset the other day and standing next to me at the salad bar was Aries Robin Wright (formerly Wright-Penn).  She's petite, very pretty and blond and was with a bearded guy who she was very lovey dovey with.  Good for her.  I'm sure being married to Leo Sean Penn was no picnic!

What's with Scorpio Demi Moore, 47 years old, mother of 3 hip hop dancing on stage with Libra Snoop Doggy Dog??  SHe was shaking it like Rihanna or someone much younger.  She certainly has tapped into the fountain of youth.  With her hot young hubby, Aquarius Ashton Kutcher by her side.  She is living the dream for sure.  Both of their careers however aren't so great.  Both need a hit but no doubt they have enough money to last them more than a lifetime.  Demi's ex is Pisces Bruce Willis after all.

Aquarius Paris Hilton is getting abit old at 30 to be running around Vegas with pot and coke in her purse.  Surely she can organize for it to be waiting in her hotel room for her?  She has enough money and enough minians to do her biding.  She really has to get a life, get a job and make something of herself.  It's just one drug bust after another of late and it's kinda lame girl.

DWTS cast has been announced.  David Hasselhoff will be entertaining if nothing else.  As will gorgeous Rick Fox.  Boring Bristol Palin had better work on her personality and make herself much more likeable or she will be voted off very quickly.  Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing looks like someone completely different now she went and had her nose done.  All in all an interesting cast and while I am not looking forward to the end of summer, I am looking forward to Gossip Girl, 90210 etc returning!
