there she is - the Hollywood sign - and it's sunny!  Quite amazing - it's been cold, damp and miserable in LA for some time now...as they sweat it out back East  103 degrees in NYC!  Can you imagine?

So what did we all think of the Bachelor/ette last night?  Ali's time with her 5 remaining men was rushed in order to fulfill our need to see Jake and Vienna hate on each other on the couch, with an uncomfortable looking Chris Harrison trying to ask sensible questions...

Aquarius Jake is as hard as nails - as hard as his rock hard abs.  He's really OFF - he's cold and yes he seems mean.  I'm on team Vienna after last night.  I think the whole reason Jake was so pissed off with Vienna is that she pocketed $100,000 from her tell all interview and he got nothing.  We all know he's a fame whore, but he's a cheap bastard too.  He feels he's been supporting Vienna while she's been here in LA supporting him...so he's probably feeling as is she should hand over the money!  She is way too young to be engaged or even in a relationship.  Her immaturity came through last night bigtime.  She's been married once before already!  Leave the boys alone Vienna and focus on YOU. However I do feel that what she says is more truth than non truths.  Apparently the producers begged her to do ANOTHER follow up show after last night and she wanted $150,000 to do it!  You go girl! 

Jake - you're in the right place in the right business.  You're cold and hard enough to deal with the cultural vacuum that is LA and with the plastic fantastic people that live here.  LA is a city without a soul.  You Jake have no soul.  A perfect match. 

I have come to the realization that I am invisible here in LA.  My 18 years in NYC spoilt me.  Men actually took notice of me in NY.  Here I am too fat, too old, too...whatever.  Going out in NY, men would always buy me and my friends a drink or at least talk to us.  Not here.  Everyone exists in their bubble and are out for what they can get.  Not a good fit for me at all.  I love the weather but that's about it.  It's a beautiful place full of empty souls.  Sad.

Speaking of sad, Cancers George Michael and Lindsay Lohan can't seem to get it sorted.  George is drunk driving again and LL looks like she's headed to rehab or jail or the nunnery yet again...

Today's birthdays include Sly Stallone and 50c.
