So Capricorn 'Mad Men' star January Jones continues to surprise us all with her antics! Driving home from watching the Lakers at the London Hotel in WeHo, she smashed into 3 parked cars and kept driving! Her Range Rover (the vehicle of choice for many celebs) did quite a bit of damage. She ditched her car, walked home, changed and came back chewing gum?
Bobby Flay, the celeb chef, was with her at the London hotel and had exchanged digits with her (so his friend could help her out with her kitchen redesign...). She called Flay and he showed up at 'crash site'. She left her license with a witness, walked a short distance to her home, called 911 and eventually returned to the scene. Jones told cops paparazzi were following her and that's why she crashed. Cops did not administer a field sobriety test -- we were told because there was no evidence of alcohol.
But now we're getting a more involved story. A woman who owns one of the cars that was hit tells TMZ ... she heard the crash, looked over her balcony and saw Jones. She says around 10 minutes after the crash, Food Network star Bobby Flay showed up in a separate car, began talking with her and telling her to leave the scene, which she did.
We spoke with Flay, who tells us he was watching the basketball game last night at The London West Hollywood Hotel with a group of people that included Jones. Flay says he saw her drink a beer but wasn't really watching her alcohol intake. Flay says he had only met Jones once before, and last night she asked for his number because she wanted to redo her kitchen and give his number to her designer. Flay obliged, and says he doesn't know why Jones chose to call him after the crash, but nonetheless he drove over to help her. He says he did not argue but just wanted to make sure she was ok.
Bobby Flay is a married Sagittarius, standing at 5'10. That's what it says on IMDB. In real life, no doubt he's about 5'8. Once again, January would tower over him! She's a tall girl!
Anyway, January needs to go into hiding for a while. She's had more thane enough drama/publicity lately.
Yesterday while having my bi-weekly mani/pedi, I was sitting next to the most adorable child - a really nice girl with long hair and exotic looks, about 10 years old. She was with her mom and then dad showed up to pay and pick his family up. Guess who dad was? Pisces Erik Estrada from 'Chips'. Needless to say the tone in the Nail Garden shifted! He still has those hot Puerto Rican looks and while a little heavier, he's still as sexy as hell! And he was smiling and happy and charming! Very nice.
Today's birthdays include George Bush Sr, Jim Nabors (Gomer Pyle) and Marv Albert...what a bunch!
