Took the Humpf to Mulholland Drive's dog run - quite the place to be and be seen! Actors, directors, wanna be's scattered over 1.6 acres of sand and patches of grass...all talking very loudly on cell phones so that everyone could overhear their celebrity loaded conversations! Classic! Only in LA. And the names of some of the dogs! Pancake/Birdie/Brocoli/Tupac...I didn't dare ask why they were called these names - i guess it's obvious right?
ALL the dogs were adopted and came with horrendous stories of being abandoned downtown with homeless people. Some were found in crack dens...some were found wandering along PCH...the mind boggles! All were on the brink of death until Mr Director/Ms Gorgeous Actress came along and rescued him or her. Now they live in Hollywood Hills mansions and have blueberry facials at TailWaggers. At the mere cost of $78. I saw the same blueberry facial girl last night shopping at Sephora with Henry in tow - no leash - running around peeing in Sephora - but then again - he was abused and starved as a youngster so pee away Henry!
Humpf was safe and sound in Santa Clarita with a crazy Italian family cooking Chicken Caccitore and drinking straight gin when I found him. Does that story count? I think I have to make up something much more gangster for him going forward. That he belonged to a street gang called 'the MaltipooMafia' and used to rob bodegas at gunpoint? Or he was a drug runner? He was a hit though! Even a few stray straight guys came over to marvel at his lack of bullets flying and ghetto upbringing and at how he looked like a teddybear come to life. Fun stuff. Back again today to see the 3 legged Great Dane that was rescued from a burning building - downtown again!
Charlie Sheen - a raging Virgo - wishes he could just get his jail sentence over and done with. So do I - just wish it was a life sentence. He bugs me so much! With his weird hair plugs sprouting all over the place now that his hair is growing back. And what's with the homeless look Charlie? You're a zillionaire! You know you're going to get photographed. You're famous. You've been famous since birth. Seriously - LA is supposed to be a fashionable place!
