My Gemini gal Lia and 2 cutie patootie maltipoos (both Aquarians)

Forget human beings...it's all about maltipoos!

Today's birthday includes Christopher Cross.

With the Moon in Capricorn, the Sun in Taurus, Mercury out of phase in Taurus (through the 11th) and Venus in Gemini, this is quite the day and quite the week.  I'm off to the Nokia theatre tonight to see Capricorn rocker Chris Daughtry...

Aries (March 21 – April 20)

You’ll be in sync with pretty much everyone this week with Venus chatting it up in Gemini, your communication zone. Flirting is a sport right now and you work up quite a sweat flitting around like the social butterfly you like to be. A job offer out of the blue could be your reward for all your hard work this year. You’ll be excited and flattered, but it’s worth exploring all options. Is it worth leaving your present job? Too good to be true type thing?

Taurus (April 21 – May 21)

You’ve got one more week to deal with Mercury retrograding in your sign. And the tail end of his retrograde is usually the worst, so get used to everything that can go wrong going wrong. Use your navigation system in your car for the simplest journey to avoid getting hopelessly lost. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by obligations, do something ‘naughty’ (like eating more than your usual amount of Tim-Tams or staying up late watching crappy movies). Sometimes reverting back to childhood is allowed.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)

Venus in your sign shines a spotlight on you this week. While career and family/friends continues to be a balancing act in your life, those single twins need to be out and about. And dressed to impress. A Sagittarius has his eye on you. Do you see him? Settled twins find new ways to up the vamp in their relationship by being suggestive and fun. Startle him with unexpected ‘stuff’ this weekend. Making friends is easy with Venus in your sign. Just make sure they are the right people for you to be hanging with.





Cancer (June 22 – July 22)

Need a reason to briefly step out of your hectic life? You have it this week with Venus hanging in Gemini, your twelfth house of renewal. Spend time every single day doing whatever it is you love to do. Even if it’s something you’re slightly embarrassed about – like stamp collecting or listening to Opera music! Triggering fresh insights into your life, your past, present and future will help you clearly see where you went wrong and how to turn lemons into lemonade.



Leo (July 23 – August 23)

Avoid mixing business with pleasure this week. Especially where money and friendships are concerned. No matter how pressured you feel, committing something when you can’t afford it – financially or time wise is self-destructive. And you’ll have to avoid big noting yourself and making promises you can’t keep too. Your heart is way bigger than your wallet and you don’t have enough time to lend yourself out all the time. Do one thing a week for someone else and do it well.

Virgo (August 24 – September 23)

Venus is vexing this week and you could have an opposites attract interlude with an unlikely person. Your risk taking nerve center is activated and you are up for the challenge and for an adventure. If you feel you aren’t getting the benefit of the doubt from your superiors at work, don’t stress or go above and beyond trying to prove yourself. It’s not you, merely a temporary planetary glitch. Just be sure to deliver everything you promise. Your star will rise even higher.

Libra (September 24 – October 23)

Hold off on major decisions and pronouncements until the New Moon next week. You should consider yourself to be in a holding pattern of sorts and just feeling your way through the maze of life. A check or refund you’ve been waiting on will show up and you will be finally able to pay off something that has been busy collecting interest for way too long. Be on the lookout for any hint of a coworker trying to undermine you on Friday.







Scorpio (October 24 – November 22)

An impulsive brand new friend could bring some much needed comic relief to your life this week. You usually don’t make friends easily but this time you give someone a chance to enter your inner Scorpio sanctum and are richly rewarded. Just don’t share your deepest, darkest secrets right off the bat with them. With your old posse, beware of unneeded defensiveness. Someone is merely offering friendly suggestions, and you don’t have to take it so personally. In fact, they may just have something.

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 21)

Onwards and upwards this week! Forward momentum continues thanks to Mars the planet of ‘just do it’ finishing up its journey in your fellow fire sign of Leo. The travel bug has you firmly in its grip but for those of you who can’t afford to go where you really want to go, you might have to downgrade your plans and deduct the star ratings as you go.

Aquarius (January 21 – February 19)

If you’re a February Aquarius and feel as if you’re being led astray at this time, get a reality check from a trusted friend today. Especially if you have been spending way too much money lately. Jupiter in your cash flow zone and Saturn retrograding in your joint resources zone put you and your money management (or lack of it) under the cosmic spotlight. Take a serious look at your money matters, including your savings goals and credit card bills.

Pisces (February 20 – March 20)

Make the effort to clear up any recent misunderstandings and continue to do so into next week, with Mercury the communicator getting his retrograde wires crossed in your communication zone. People will appreciate your attempts at clearing the air and hopefully will respond in kind.
