The beat goes on here in LALALAND with the buzz starting to build about the next instalment of Sex and the City - which opens May 28. Leo Darren Star is the genius behind the series and the movies - a really nice guy who is humble beyond belief. Then of course there's the girls - Leo Kim Cattrall, Aries SJP and Cynthia Nixon and Pisces Kristen Davis. Mr.Big (Chris Noth) is a Scorpio (of course!). Can't wait for the movie! I don't care what the bloggers are saying - referencing the girls to the Golden Girls etc. Have a look at the bodies on Kim and SJP and compare to your own people! Dateline last night had a one hour show on the Hollywood Bling Ring - the high school kids from Calabasas who went around breaking into celeb Hollywood mansions and stealing bags, shoes and jewellery. None of the houses had any sort of alarms. Paris Hilton left her front door key under her front door mat. That's how the burglars got in. They walked in. She left the key there again and again and got burgled - again and again! No dogs, housekeepers, security etc. ????
SATC is about real women and real life situations (granted with fab fashion and backdrop!). And these women are bonafied actresses. Not reality TV stars who simply were in the right place at the right time.
