St Patrick's Day

St Patricks Day is a big day for the East Coast - NY, Boston, Chicago go crazy - but LA is not as caught up in St Pat's Day.  Meanwhile the weather is outrageously gorgeous - 80's plus every day this week. Plus budgetary cuts in CA means no parade today.  For such a beautiful state, it's a shame CA is busted.

Nice sighting of Ricardo Chavira yesterday at the car wash in Burbank.  Ricardo plays Carlos on Desperate Housewives.  He's married to Eva Longoria (Gabby) on the show.  Ricardo is a Virgo and Eva is a Pisces so there is definitely a connection between them on and off the show.

Speaking of connections, newly engaged (and very happy about it) Libra Simon Cowell and his gorgeous make up artist Aries Mezghan Hussainy are a great match.  I wrote this yesterday for my magazine and website and wanted to share it with you too.

Opposites attract – and here we have a case of a Libra man falling under the magic spell of an Aries pretty woman. Fussy Simon is a typical Libra with Venus in Virgo. He was looking for perfection. And he seems pretty chuffed with his find doesn’t he? Mezghan has her Venus in Aries, so she is a continuing challenge for Simon. She’s a flirt and she has quite a few admirers. Simon knew he had to put a ring on it and he did! However, with her Mercury in Pisces and Moon in Capricorn, she is a grounding influence on Simon, who’s Moon in Sagittarius and Mercury in Libra tends to make him flighty and gun-shy. ARIES: The Moon in your sign again today is forcing you to confront any and all emotional hang ups.  If you are sad today or slightly moody, it's okay.  Just make sure whatever you're sad about is worthy of your sadness. 

TAURUS: There is nothing you can do about someone who doesn't want to do something you want them to do. They have their reasons why they're not falling into line (your line) and they are sticking by that reason.

GEMINI: The Moon shines again on your friendship zone and with the Sun getting ready to put his 2 cents worth in over the weekend in the same part of your chart, along with Mercury and Venus, it's really about how you are with the people around you in your life.

CANCER: Don't worry too much about something you feel is currently out of control.  It's not as bad as you think it is.  With very little effort you will be able to things back into line.  Your line.  Just the way you want it.

LEO: Be positive about something today - even if you don't really that it's going to work out the way you want it to work out.  There is something to be said for wishful thinking and visualizing what you want to see happen. 

VIRGO: Don't question something or someone too much today.  Sure enquiring minds want to know and all that, but sometimes it's best to just let things be.  This is one of those days.  Focus on you and what you need. 

LIBRA: Avoid offering to help with something and then realizing you really don't have the time, energy or funds to do anything remotely like you promised you would do.  Nothing worse than having to rescind your offer is there?

SCORPIO: With so much planetary activity lining up in fiery Aries over the next few days, it's vital that you get your poker/game face on (yes Lady Gaga is an Aries so it's perfect!).  Underreacting is so cool and something you Scorpios have perfected.  Shake it off boys and girls!

SAGITTARIUS:  The best two weeks of the year are coming up - and those 2 weeks could be extended even further thanks to the major players lining up in Aries, your fellow fire sign and 5th house of romance, self-fulfillment and creativity.  Life is good.

CAPRICORN:  Tiger is on the comeback trail!  His goat wife has taken him back and he is set to play in Augusta next month.  What are you clawing your way back towards?  Know that the Universe is on your side and that you have a great way with words right now.

AQUARIUS: If you feel insecure about something today, push yourself to find out why.  Sometimes we worry about things that have absolutely no relevance at all.  Yet other times our intuition is trying to tell us something.  What is your intuition telling you?

PISCES:  The Sun spends his final days in your sign, heading off into Aries this weekend - the first day of Spring - Saturday is the day the Sun moves into Aries.  So make the most of your cosmic start to the year by really making lemonade out of lemons and all that jazz...
